Founded in 2014, Jiseungmin Ceramics reinterprets Korea’s long ceramic tradition for a modern context. Artist Ji Seung-min draws on classical forms from the Joseon era while introducing a contemporary clarity that sits between the experimental and the everyday. Each piece is crafted in his studio by a small team of ceramicists, ensuring precision, consistency and a quiet integrity of finish. The result is work that feels rooted in heritage yet wholly of the present — tableware and objects that carry cultural memory into daily life with measured grace.

• Avoid direct heat, including ovens, hobs and open flames.
• Microwave and dishwasher safe, though extreme temperatures and heavy cycles are best avoided.
• Light glazes may stain when in contact with certain foods.
• When handwashing, use a soft sponge and dry thoroughly before storing.
• Store only when fully dry to prevent mould.
• Handle edges and corners with care; metal cutlery may leave marks.
• Copper Brown: exposure to oils or acidic foods may create visible marks that gradually deepen into patina — a natural feature of the collection.
• Priming: before first use, apply a thin layer of edible oil with kitchen paper, wash and repeat two to three times to help maintain colour and tone.

• Each piece is hand-processed, resulting in subtle variations of glaze, tone and form.
• Differences in size, shade and surface pattern are considered part of the collection’s character.
• Minerals in the clay and glaze may create natural specks or pinholes.
• Fine crackle lines (crazing) may develop over time with use.
• Colours may appear slightly different in person compared to online images due to lighting or screen display.
