Return Policy
We accept returns for a full refund within 30 days of the shipping date for orders shipped within Canada. Items must be in original, unused condition with all packaging intact.
Orders shipped outside of Canada, including the United States, are final sale.
To ensure clarity and maintain the integrity of our products, the following items are ineligible for return or exchange:
- Final Sale Items: Items with permanent markdown prices ending in .99, indicating they are discontinued and no longer restocked, are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Promotional Items: Items purchased during temporary promotions (e.g., Black Friday or Boxing Day sales) are not final sale unless explicitly stated. These items are eligible for return or exchange under our regular return policy.
- Special Order Items: Items designated as Special Order (those we do not regularly stock but order specifically for you) are non-refundable. Special Order status will be noted online for clarity.
- Food Items: All food items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Plants: Plants are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Used or Damaged Items: Items that are not in their original, unused condition with all original packaging intact cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Holiday Merchandise: Christmas-specific items — including stockings, ornaments, tree stands and seasonal décor — are final sale for the season and are not eligible for return or exchange.
In addition to the exclusions above, all orders shipped outside of Canada are final sale.

To ensure a smooth return process, all returned items must:
- Be in their original packaging.
- Be in resellable condition, unused, and undamaged.
Old Faithful Shop reserves the right to inspect all returns and may reject items that do not meet these criteria. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain the quality of our products.
If a return is rejected due to not meeting our criteria, we will notify you. You can choose to have the product shipped back at a cost of $25 CAD or have it recycled or donated. If we cannot contact you within 14 days, the product will be recycled or donated.
If an order is rejected and returned to us, any duties, taxes, or additional shipping charges incurred during the return process will be deducted from the refund amount. Please ensure all customs and delivery requirements are met to avoid additional fees.
For U.S. customers: If the refusal is due to unpaid tariffs or import duties, we are not responsible for those charges and will deduct any related return costs accordingly.
- Exchanges can be processed at either of our store locations, provided the item is returned within our 30-day return policy and is in original condition with its original packaging.
- Our online store currently does not process exchanges. However, items purchased online can be exchanged in-store during your visit.
- Exchanges are available for Canadian orders only.
Yes — we’re happy to offer a one-time price adjustment on full-price items within 7 days of purchase, as long as the item is still in stock at the lower price.
Price adjustments are not offered on sale items or during promotional periods such as Boxing Week or Black Friday.
Canadian Online Returns
Canadian orders are eligible for a $15 flat-rate return shipping fee, deducted from your refund once we receive the item(s).
1. Please navigate to our Returns Center here and fill out the form.
2. Once your return is authorized you will be able to download and print a Canada Post return shipping label.
3. Carefully pack the order up ensuring the contents cannot move and have a buffer between the outside walls of the box - items damaged in return transit are not eligible for a refund.
4. Drop the package off at the nearest UPS location within 5 business days.
Upon receiving your return, we'll inspect it to ensure it meets our policy requirements. Approved returns will be refunded to the original credit card used for the purchase. Please allow 3-6 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
USA & International Orders — Final Sale
All orders shipped outside of Canada, including the United States, are final sale. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on USA and international orders.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will make it right.
United States: Duties and taxes are calculated and paid at checkout. There are no additional charges on delivery.
International (non-USA): Duties, taxes, and import fees are not included and may be collected upon delivery by the carrier or local customs authority.
All orders shipped outside of Canada, including the United States, are final sale. Refused or undeliverable shipments are not eligible for a refund.
Store Returns
In-store purchases can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in original condition with packaging, and proof of purchase is required. Gift receipts are valid for in-store credit or exchange only.
