Toyo-Sasaki Glassware was founded in 2002 after the merger of two of Japan's oldest glassware manufacturers dating back to 1878. The combination of long-standing traditions and technologies have seen them produce industry-leading glass built with strength and durability as their main-stays.

Perfecting a technique of extreme heating and rapid cooling they have created a line of handmade and machine made glass that is much stronger than their competitors.

In 1967 they launched their infamous stacking tumbler which quickly set the bar for foodservice glassware expectations garnering them many awards in the process including the coveted Good Design Award.
