A Goldsworthy Autumn
Autumn is our favourite time of the year: the crisp chill in the air, thick sweaters and wool socks, the myriad coloured landscape and the beauty of leaves letting go.
Whenever the leaves start changing we are always reminded of the works of Andy Goldsworthy. His playfulness with the impermanent reminds us of the days of youth when we would rake up a giant pile of maple leaves only to turn around and cannonball back in to them. Goldsworthy, of course, takes it to the next level with his painstaking arrangements although the outcome is usually the same - windblown disintegration.
Many of these images were scanned from this book, but we would highly suggest you head over here to see much, much more.
